Our Story

A Small Company With A Big Mission.

Lakewood Labor Co. was built on a simple idea: pair hardworking neighborhood students with Dallas homeowners who need real help. The result? A business that gets the job done and builds up the next generation while it's at it.

How It Started

From a Pickup Truck to the Whole Neighborhood.

It started the way a lot of good things do — with a few Woodrow Wilson kids, a borrowed truck, and a neighbor who needed a hand unloading a U-Haul. One job turned into two. Two turned into twenty. Before long, the phone wouldn't stop ringing.

What makes Lakewood Labor different isn't just that we work hard — it's why we work. Every booking puts a local student to work. Every job site is a place where they learn what it means to show up, be on time, take pride in the work, and talk to customers like adults.

We're not a faceless corporation. We're your neighbors. And we're grateful every time you pick up the phone.

Why Customers Trust Us

Three Things We Don't Compromise On.

01

Show Up

On time. Dressed right. With the tools we need. The simplest thing in the world — and the thing most companies get wrong.

02

Work Hard

No phones out. No breaks we didn't earn. We move with purpose because your time is worth respecting.

03

Be Honest

Fair quotes. Straight answers. If we can't do something well, we'll tell you — and recommend someone who can.

Meet the Crew

The Students Behind the Work.

Every crew on our trucks is made up of Woodrow Wilson students — learning the value of a hard day's work one job at a time.

They show up early. They lift together. They listen when customers ask questions. And when the job is done, they leave every home cleaner than they found it.

When you hire Lakewood Labor Co., you're not just hiring help — you're giving a local kid a paycheck, a reference, and a story to tell. That's the whole point.

Want to refer a student who'd make a great crew member? Reach out — we're always looking for hard workers.

The Impact

Every job you book changes a kid's week.

Money for gas, groceries, or college. A line on a first resume. A mentor who says, "You did good today." That's what your booking actually pays for.

"I didn't start this because I wanted to run a cleaning company. I started it because I saw good kids who needed a shot — and good neighbors who needed a hand. Turns out, those two problems solve each other."
